Issues with Building the Timeline.js project

Hi,
I tried to set up the development environment as described in DEVELOPER.md, however, the fablib.git repo doesn't seem to exist any more.
I installed the common fablib (pip install fablib), however, both 'fab serve' as well as 'fab build' don't work.

Is the DEVELOPER.md outdated? Also, is the config.json file part of the codekit files or how can it be used?

Many Thanks,
Jan

Ah, yes. fablib is an internal KnightLab library. If there's one on PyPi, then we chose a bad name!

We'll take a look at what's there now and how we can adjust things to make it easier to make changes to the code. It evolved from a one-person project, so there are a few things that make that challenging.

We made fablib public as part of our work to release TimelineJS's sibling, StoryMapJS.

At the moment, we're still depending on fablib being checked out in a directory "adjacent" to TImelineJS.

If you're still interested in trying to build locally, you can check out NUKnightLab/fablib and give it a whirl. I can't say what priority we'll be able to give helping outside parties build the code, but if we can nudge it to be a little easier, we're happy to.
