Hello - wonderful plugin you have! It is very impressive, clean and easy. We were wondering however if you could begin the timeline display at the far left of the time nav-line instead of in the middle?
Can you start the timeline at the far left instead of the middle?

Randal Oulton NO would appear to be the answer. >> I found an answer from Joe on this over in the old Google group: "There's no support for this right now. Remember that while you may have dates which could spread across the entire timeline, TimelineJS has to be flexible enough to handle different cases, including many where the events wouldn't fit in the available space for the timeline."

Dave Yost The "has to be flexible" argument does not address the request, really. We're simply suggesting that the author of the timeline should have the ability to set the starting condition to put the leftmost event all the way to the left while not bleeding off the left. If that is not something that is appropriate for the timeline, then the author won't start it that way.

Roulton OMG this is ancient. Thank god I don't have to worry about this anymore in my work! It was all so fragile and flaky! Outta my life now!!!

Beth Thomas Has there been a resolution to this issue? My first 'event' starts at 1982 but the timeline is showing prior as early as 1970. This puts the first event in the middle of the slider, and I have to scroll left to get more events. I don't necessarily need to have my whole timeline show at once, just don't need the blank space to the left of my starting event.

Sharonelee87 Would also love to know if there is a resolution to this, as I have the same issue. Thanks!
