Is there any way to enable/activate scrolling on the intervall bar?
So when you scroll down, the next event to the right ist adressed and when you scroll up, the next event to the left is adressed.
I don't always want to click on the arrow right/left or on the particular event to go forward.

You can use the left and right arrow keys to advance the Timeline without clicking.
It is probably possible in principle to listen to scroll events and use them to move the timeline. As someone who almost always loathes scroll-to-zoom on web maps (unless they're full screen), I'm not sure I'd be an advocate for that, but hey, Timeline is open source...
