This Google Account does not support public Google Drive sharing.

We are really liking this MapStory project, but unfortunately we can not use it with our Google Apps accounts.  We do not have any restrictions in place on Google Drive sharing, but if people try to login they get this message:

his Google Account does not support public Google Drive sharing.

Does this service not work with Google Apps accounts, or is there some setting somewhere that needs to be changed on the admin control panel?

Thanks,

Dan

It appears that this is an admin option you can control. You would need to enable "allow users to publish documents on the web." This would,of course, allow them to publish any documents, so you'd have to choose whether that's acceptable, or whether you just want people to use public Google Drive for this.

We can probably improve that error message.

Me too, the settings are correct on Google Drive. I would like to test Story Map but am unable to at the moment.

I believe we've tracked down the issue here. At least one user reports that corporate Google Apps users are able to use StoryMap now. Let us know if you find differently.
